John brings a wealth of experience in productizing large enterprise applications for the commercial market. His experience gained through five successful software start-ups over the past 25 years spans the executive management, software development, and technical sales spectrum.John is responsible for maintaining sales, obtaining financing, guiding the ProgramScope product roadmap, managing ProgramScope implementations, conducting quality assurance and overseeing the development of all ProgramScope documentation.
John joined VQS in 2001, holds an MBA Degree from Indiana University, and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Mike Greene, Partner and Board of Directors
Mike is the inspiration for what is possible in Oracle. He developed the WorkPlan and Task Management module within ProgramScope and has expanded its capabilities to managing more than 10 million tasks being accessed by 100’s of users. The vision extends to the Configuration Model that has similar scope and size as the WorkPlan Management.
Mike joined VQS in February 1997 as a Software Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Scott Pettiway, Partner and Board of Directors
Scott provides technology leadership and directs system architect and manages VQS's development teams. As the Lead Architect for ProgramScope, he is responsible for enforcing database standards and guiding developers in design decisions in a web application using an Oracle database. His major contribution was the year he spent in Italy fully implementing the multi-client and program architecture and designed international language support for a web application. Scott has worked on numerous enterprise software development projects for clients such as NASA, Unisys, Cardinal Health and Technosistemi.
Scott joined VQS in May 1997 as a Software Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
Renny Barnes, Board of Directors
Renny brings years of successful business experience to the VQS board. In addition, he is currently assisting VQS with both our International Sales initiatives and with Business Development. As a long time entreprenuer Renny has founded and developed several successful companies in the telecommunitions sector. Although now retired from the bar, Renny was also a highly respected attorney for many years.
Skip Hardin, Principal Consultant
As Principal Consultant, Skip has responsibility for Pre-Sale consulting, business analysis and professional services. Skip has over twenty-five years of experience in the software industry with both major multi-national corporations as well as emerging, start-up companies. Skip's management experience runs the entire customer experience lifecycle from Presales, to Implementation, to Support. Skip began his software career at Control Data Corporation and then went on to work for several successful start-up companies including IMNET Systems (acquired by McKesson) and XACCT Technologies (acquired by Amdocs).
Skip holds an English degree from the University of Georgia and an Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
